It is truly an honor to serve as the Chairman of the 2012 Combined Federal Campaign of North Central West Virginia. For the past 10 years, I have had the privilege to be involved with the Combined Federal Campaign as a Keyworker, Loaned Executive, Facility Chair and Local Federal Coordinating Committee Member. With each passing year, I watch as we continue to increase our giving to record amounts; last year's donations exceeded $303,000. It truly never ceases to amaze me to witness the impact our efforts means to many local, national and international charities.
As we embark on a new campaign year, I would like to ask each agency to ensure their employees have the opportunity to participate by selecting active Keyworkers and engage in interactive fundraisers. There are many ways to donate to the campaign such as payroll deduction, check or cash. No matter which method you prefer all of the contributions will be used to support charities of your choice.
Through the Combined Federal Campaign, the 4,500 federal employees in the North Central West Virginia area can work together to impact countless lives. Please look into your heart and help me reach out to all federal employees, so we can continue to change the lives of many who may be in times of need. Without your support, we will not be able to continue our journey to ensure the lives of others will be brighter tomorrow than they are today.
